He Shou Wu | Fo-ti Root

This anti-aging herb is commonly known in the west asFo-Ti Root (or Fo-Ti-Tieng) and is a member of the buckwheat family. This western nickname was given to it in the 70's and is now its most commonly recognized name. The latin name for the Fo-Ti root's whole plant is polygonum multiflorum. The Chinese name is He Shou Wu which roughly translates as Mr. Wu's hair stays black.

“Fo-ti” or “He shou wu” is a remedy that is vitally important to Chinese herbology. In China, it is named ‘He Shou Wu’ (or ‘Black Haired Mr. He’), after a village elder who took it and was restored to youthful vitality.

In modern herbology, Fo Ti is commonly used to support good health, vitality and youthfulness; hence in China it is very popular amongst the elderly.

The usual dose is 1 capsule, once or twice per day, on an empty stomach.

What results can I expect to receive?
You may start to notice improvements in your over all wellbeing straight away, although a lot of the benefits you will receive will go unnoticed. If you are greying or have grey hair you may even notice a change in colour in a few weeks.

Do I need a prescription?
No. You do not need to see a doctor or medical practitioner to get a prescription. This is a Dietary Supplement. If you are on any medication or have any serious health concerns you should check with your doctor first.

Are there any known side effects?
Fo-Ti is easily tolerated by the body, however if you experience any of the following nausea, dizziness, or any other side effects you should stop taking immediately and consult your doctor or health care professional. If you are suffering from Diarrhea you should stop taking Fo-Ti until it has ceased.

Can anybody take this product?
This product is not recommended for persons under that age of 18 or pregnant woman. Or if you are on medication, have heart problems, or suffer any serious illness.
